Plantraco's
900 MHz radio control system is perfect for indoor and micro-sized
RC flying!
The
four-channel HFX900 transmitter has V-tail mixing, simulator
mode, rapid trim adjustment, and negative exponential rates.
The
transmitter has excellent range and a built-in charger for
lithium-polymer cells. (Our version has a 10 mm Bahoma magnet
spacing and is compatible with the 90 mAh cells shown below.)
The
Micro9 receiver weighs only 0.9 grams. It has plug-in sockets
for a motor and two actuators. The actuator lines will also
drive a small tail rotor (4 mm pager with 2 cm prop) but Plantraco's
MiniAct is recommended for RC ornithopers.
Plantraco's
1.1 gram MiniAct magnetic actuator has enough torque to steer
a 15 gram (1/2 ounce) RC ornithopter. This size actuator is
recommended for the new RC Phoenix.
The
90 mAh lithium-polymer cell is a perfect match for the Micro9
receiver. We now have the higher-discharge "Full River"
cells with the Bahoma magnet system, which allows you to connect
or disconnect the battery with great ease. The tiny magnets
may also be lighter than conventional connectors and wires.
