Kinkade RC Ornithopters

The Ornithopter Zone offers a risk-free alternative for purchasing Kinkade RC ornithopters. Many people have lost their money when attempting to purchase these models directly from the manufacturer. These ornithopters are intended for the serious hobbyist, and they require installation of radio components that you buy separately: a lightweight receiver/ESC, two Hitec HS-56HB servos, a Li-poly battery (11.1V, ~1200mAh), charger, and radio transmitter. Some items can be purchased below. Please support your local hobby shop when purchasing the other items. All models are "almost ready to fly". Just install the receiver, servos, etc. and put on the wings & tail. They all have full, three-channel radio control, a powerful motor, and durable composite construction.
Required Accessories

		MikroDesigns Receiver/ESC - $56.95 A combined receiver and electronic speed control simplifies wiring and saves weight. The SPF-5/ESC from MikroDesigns is only 4.5 grams! It works with any 72 MHz FM transmitter. A soft-cutoff feature keeps the wings flapping when the battery gets low. Made in USA!

		Receiver Crystal - $5.95 Select frequency to match your transmitter. If your frequency is not listed, you can buy a crystal from your local hobby shop.

		Hitec HS-56HB Servo - $29.95 The tail of the ornithopter exerts a great load on the servos. This durable servo with Karbonite gears will stand up to the abuse, and it fits the pre-cut mounting spaces in the ornithopter. Order two for each bird.

Kinkade RC Ornithopters

		Slow Hawk II - $499 brushless motor! Impress your audience with the enormous size and slow, majestic flapping. The Slow Hawk also lets you glide and soar with other birds. Easy to fly. 48" wingspan, 18 oz.

		Shrike - $360 A small park-flyer with good all-around flight characteristics. It handles wind and maneuvers well, but it also can glide. Easy to fly. Latest version with dual output gears. 36" wingspan, 10 oz.

		Yard Hawk - $360 It's like a jet with flapping wings. Imagine yourself chasing down real birds with this ultra-fast ornithopter! Recommended only for experienced RC pilots. Latest version with dual output gears. 26" wingspan, 10 oz.

The Park Hawk is no longer available. Due to problems with the supplier, we will not be restocking any of the Kinkade RC ornithopters once they are gone.
