Cybird P1 is easy to fly with two-channel radio control:
Varying the throttle causes the bird to climb or descend.
For steering, the whole tail moves left and right, just
like a real bird. This is accomplished by a hobby-grade
servo already installed.
Cybird
P1 is about the size of a small hawk: 29 inch wingspan,
7.1 ounce weight. The small size makes it perfect for
flying at your local park or school soccer field. Graphics
printed on the fabric wing may differ from those shown.
Receiver/ESC:
A combined receiver and electronic speed control simplifies
wiring and saves weight. This
one, from
Mikro Designs, is only 4.5 grams! It works with any
72 MHz FM transmitter. A soft-cutoff feature keeps the
wings flapping when the battery gets low. Made in USA!
- Tip:
Select your transmitter frequency below.
If your frequency is not listed, leave it unselected
and purchase the appropriate frequency crystal from
your local hobby shop.
You
will also need a two-cell (7.4 volt) lithium-polymer
battery with a capacity of 1200 mAh, a suitable charger,
and a radio transmitter. Please support your local hobby
shop when purchasing these items.
Spare
parts are available. There is no need to order spare
parts with your initial purchase. Order spare parts
only if needed.
